The event, which brought together top employers and industry experts, aimed to provide students with a platform to connect, explore, and succeed in their future careers.

For many students, the Career Fair was a game-changer. “I’m so glad I attended the Career Fair,” said Katlego Mokoena, a second-year student. “I got to meet with representatives from my dream company and learn more about their internship program. It’s opportunities like these that make me feel confident about my future.”

Tshiamo Moloi, one of the organizers of the event, echoed one of the student’s sentiments. “The purpose of the Career Fair is to help sharpen students’ mind-set for employment,” he explained. “We want to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the job market. I’m thrilled with the turnout – many students came to explore the opportunities available to them.”

The Career Fair featured a diverse range of exhibitors, including top companies from various industries. Students had the chance to network with employers, learn about job openings and internship programs, and gain valuable insights into the world of work.

As the event came to a close, it was clear that the NWU Career Fair had achieved its goal of amplifying students’ careers. With renewed confidence and a clearer sense of direction, students left the fair ready to take on the challenges of the job market.
