Reasons why many students got rejected at UMP

The University of Mpumalanga has received over 220 thousand new applications for 2025 undergradutes.

For a university that is just a decade old, the number of applications received are shocking and it is expected that some students were never going to be accepted due to space availability.

Three thousand three hundrand (3 300) was the number of students that the University of Mpumalanga was willing to accept.

Back in 2014 the university had less than 300 students, and over the years it continued to grow enabling to accept more and more students.

Looking into the programmes offered, the university also addede new extra courses over the years. As of today it offers more than 30 courses.

Students are always encouranged to apply early in time to avoid disappointments.
